What I Would Do If I Owned WOTC

First I would release my games all under a GNU Open Document License. And then, I would compete with other vendors for quality and sell official trademarked products. I would always make available previous editions of my games. The WOTC website would be a social site where gamers can schedule games at a table or online. And of course my online games tools would be superior.

WOTC would be a hub for indie gaming as well and players would be encouraged to expand and redraft rules and repost them. Think of Sourceforge or Github for gaming.

WOTC won't do any of this of course.
